The UK Post-Study Work Visa, also known as the Graduate Visa, offers international students the opportunity to remain in the UK and gain professional experience after completing their studies. Eligibility Criteria

• Location Requirement – You must apply from within the UK while holding a valid Student Visa (or Tier 4 Visa).

• English Language – No additional English test is required for this visa.

• One-Time Visa – This route can be used only once. Extensions are not permitted. To remain beyond the Graduate Visa period, you must switch to another visa category (e.g., Skilled Worker Visa).

• Separate Application – The visa is not granted automatically; applicants must submit an immigration application and pay the relevant fee.

Duration of Stay

• Master’s Degree Graduates – Eligible to stay in the UK for 2 years.

• Ph.D. Graduates – Eligible to stay in the UK for 3 years.

Application Process

1. Your UK university will notify UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) upon your degree completion.

2. Once your academic record is updated, you can apply for the Graduate Visa.

3. Submit your application before your Student or Tier 4 Visa expires.

4. Pay the application fee and immigration health surcharge at the time of submission.
